I am a proud native of Long Island, having established my early roots in the central region and raised my family on the south shore of Suffolk County.
My formative years taught me valuable lessons about personal potential and resilience. Growing up with two older siblings and facing bullying during elementary school, I encountered challenges related to my last name, socioeconomic status, and body image due to my family’s circumstances following my father's disability. While these experiences were difficult, they profoundly shaped my understanding of compassion and respect for others.
I began my professional journey in Manhattan at Bache, Halsey, Stuart, and Shields, Inc., a brokerage firm located across from Pace University. Although the demands of commuting were significant, I was invigorated by the bustling atmosphere of the city at the age of 19.
Over the years, my career has spanned a diverse array of roles, including government service, retail management as the counter manager of Estée Lauder for Lord & Taylor, and ultimately rising to store and different manager positions within several retail establishments. I further advanced my career by managing three locations for a prominent accounting and tax firm.
My success across these positions can be attributed to a strong work ethic, attentive listening skills, and a commitment to fostering professional relationships—all of which have contributed to my dedication to client success.
Motivated by a passion to empower individuals who struggle with self-confidence and interpersonal communication, I established YPI Consultants. Here, I have developed professional programs that leverage the skills and knowledge I have gained throughout my career to help others build their self-assurance. In addition to my professional endeavors, I former avid runner, an activity I find highly beneficial for both mental and physical well-being. I have completed the NYC Marathon twice and participated in the Rhode Island Marathon, where I experienced a unique challenge over a distance of 29 miles due to event organization issues, as well as various 5K races across Long Island. I also cherish spending time with family and friends, engaging in local charitable activities, and enjoying moments of relaxation with my husband.
I welcome the opportunity to hear about your experiences.
Please feel free to schedule a time on my calendar for a conversation over coffee or a phone call. I look forward to connecting with you.
